Church

As a Sunday School teacher for about forty years, I had teh opportunity to study the Bible. And—at times—I wrote something. The pieces here are some of the writings I did for the church and about the Bible.

Views of the Cross is the narrative for an Easter presentation using traditional Easter music interspersed with narration. Peggy Ray chose the music and directed the choir. Joe Turner did an original arrangement for the opening and tied the pieces together musically.

Jesus and the Pharisees was the first of a series of lessons for a Sunday School course entitled "The Bible in Scenes." The idea was to present the Biblical encounters in terms familiar to students today.
