People are at once the best and worst of photographic subjects; the best because they bring something to the photograph that a landscape or still life can't. The worst because the good moment often passes so quickly that the very best picture is in your memory rather than in the camera. Here are some of the people I've photographed for various purposes, several of whom are family members who have to be patient with me.
